Instant Celebrity

I’m catching up on a couple of prompts and this one is the classic, “If you could be anyone, who would you be?” question. The honest answer is I don’t know. I’m sure it would be cool to experience certain famous people’s lives but there isn’t one that overwhelms me. I don’t have an overwhelming urge to be any specific person. For sake of this exercise, however, I’ll pick some people:

Musicians

I’ve always loved the Counting Crows. They’re my favorite band. I can’t wait for their new album to come out. It would be kind of cool to be Adam Duritz for a day. I know he has had an impact on my own writing, I guess it would be cool to actually be him.

I wouldn’t mind be Usher for a day either. The dude can dance. And sing. And pretty much anything else.

Oh, and there is JT. I’ve always been very vocal about wanting to bring Sexy back.

Actors

 Al Pacino, just so I can deliver this speech:

Ewan McGregor filming Moulin Rouge because I would get to be in love with Nicole Kidman all day.

Athletes

I would be fine being Tom Brady for a day. I’m from New England, I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t contemplated being Tom Brady at length. Tom Brady convinced me to buy Uggs. Who wouldn’t want to be him?
