Pending a final interview with the district, for the 2017-2018 school year I will be teaching two classes of eleventh grade English (American Lit) at the high school I coach at. While it may not be a full class load off the bat, I’m more than ecstatic to get a shot to teach my own class. Those reps are going to be invaluable. Plus, it might be nice to go slow to start. It’ll allow me more time to focus and prep, and likely adjust, everything I intend to do.

So, bottom line, yay me. Now I gotta start reading .
