Three weeks ago I loved Wednesday nights. There was a spectacular two hour sequence of great tv, with The Magicians running from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on SyFy and then Legion from 10:00 p.m. to 11:** p.m. on FX. But now, as my body has adapted to this damned teaching schedule, my ass is tired by 8:00 p.m. and I’m passing out around 9:30 p.m.. Thankfully, I have access to an xfinity package that lets me watch everything the next day, but it kind of sucks having to wait the extra time. I love appointment tv. It gives the week purpose. Maybe it’s not that big of a deal – in some ways the appointment just gets moved one more day – but it’s a sacrifice I didn’t consider going into the line of work. Alas, gotta get paid, right?

If any of you haven’t checked out The Magicians or Legion, give them a peak:

Welcome to the empty recesses of my mind! I'm a recent college graduate realizing a Creative Writing degree was a bad idea. Give me a pity like. Or you could check out the about sections (on the front page and about this author page) on my blog to learn a little more about me. Whatever.

What do you think? Do you agree? Do you love it? Or am i a complete tool? Any response is welcome!
