Football ended last Thursday and I took the past couple of days to decompress from it. We did some great things (Like win a league championship and have the best start in school history) and even though it ended on a down note (We lost our last three games – including two to our rival), I’m proud of the things we were able to accomplish. I’m going to miss being out on that field, even if I am excited about what’s coming up for me.

Speaking of which; I graduate college this month.

That sentence deserves a line by itself.

I graduate college this month.

I graduated high school in 2005. It’s been nine(-ish) years of ups and downs and I am finally to the point in which I can say, “I have a bachelor’s degree in creative writing.”

(Please listen to this song while I clean up the pieces of my blown mind)

Anyways, I’m excited for this month because I have some very tangible goals I want to accomplish. They are:

  1. Finish my grad school application
  2. Participate in NaNoWriMo (albeit belated)
  3. Find a job.

I’m a little embarrassed that I didn’t finish the grad school app while in season. It kept getting pushed back. It’s definitely high priority this week (well, getting the passport done is).

When I did NaPoWriMo last April I really wanted to do it’s distant cousin NaNoWriMo in November. But since it was in  the last month of the season – there was no way that going to happen. So I am going to do it in December. Today. Shit…

I guess I better start writing again.

Welcome to the empty recesses of my mind! I'm a recent college graduate realizing a Creative Writing degree was a bad idea. Give me a pity like. Or you could check out the about sections (on the front page and about this author page) on my blog to learn a little more about me. Whatever. https://thebohemianrockstarpresents.wordpress.com/

What do you think? Do you agree? Do you love it? Or am i a complete tool? Any response is welcome!
