Pretty pictures up on the wall,
Pretty pictures taken in the fall,
Pretty pictures of a pretty life,
Pretty pictures that sting like a knife.

An empty room full of hidden regrets,
An empty room with a smell that hasn’t left yet,
An empty room in a noisy house,
An empty room quiet as a mouse.

A full glass and thoughts of the past,
A full glass that never seems to last,
A full glass with stains on the carpet
A full glass with pants that don’t fit.

One less person to call at night
One less person to hug tight.
One less person to give the world love
One more person resting with angels above.

Welcome to the empty recesses of my mind! I'm a recent college graduate realizing a Creative Writing degree was a bad idea. Give me a pity like. Or you could check out the about sections (on the front page and about this author page) on my blog to learn a little more about me. Whatever.
