I’m a big white dude. Me dancing is not pretty. Even the times in my life when I was a skinny twig (My weight ranges in extremes) I didn’t dance.

I’ve always made efforts. It’s just that they sort of look like this:

My family are not dancers (notable exception being my sister). I come from a long line of sit and drink then grab the mike and start drunkenly sing along-ers. My family memories consist of a big circle and people singing along to songs like American Pie or God Bless the USA.

As for me, now, I only really dance when I’m drunk. If I am dating a girl that loves dancing I have to be sufficiently inebriated before I step on the dance floor and deliver my hitch magic. That’s just the way it is.
