I think I may have mentioned this in passing, but I transferred to Southern New Hampshire University’s online program for the spring semester. So far, I’m loving it.
The drive back and forth to Bridgewater was horrible. I hated driving 2.5 hours (back and forth) for two to three classes a week. It just made the trip not feel worth it most times. I especially would hate it when we wouldn’t do anything productive in class. The trip would be an utter waste of a day (and $25 worth of gas).
As of right now, I’m two weeks ahead in all of my classes (three weeks in my humanities course). With all the coursework available online it allows me to be as productive as I possibly can be.
Oh yeah, and school at SNHU doesn’t officially start until tomorrow.
In other news, I finally got to a point where I felt comfortable applying for an open reporter position close to home. I want to start 2014 on the right foot and the right foot means that I am writing – as much as possible.
Plus I need clips. A lot of the portfolio links that I used to have are all dead. Once I get a gig I am going to start saving everything as PDFs.
That’s about it right now. I’m tending to some RHV stuff, working on here, and just general fooling around on the comp.
